Use case

The EU Battery Regulation mandates a Battery Passport for all industrial batteries over 2 kWh and all EV batteries from 18 February 2027. WebIQ's Battery Passport module is aligned to Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and ready to deploy now.

01How it works

Carbon footprint declarations by lifecycle stage, recycled content percentages for critical minerals, state-of-health metrics, supply chain due diligence documentation, and end-of-life handling information are captured in structured, regulation-aligned data fields. Machine-readable exports are generated for EU registry submission and customs verification.

Business outcome

Battery manufacturers and EV supply chain operators meet the February 2027 deadline without last-minute platform changes. The same data structure extends to broader vehicle and component DPP obligations as ESPR delegated acts are published.
